Amanda Castillo
MSW Intern
I have found that the first step in anything I want to do or have to do, is the hardest. Maybe it's because I don't know what comes after that first step. Or, maybe, I do know, and it will be tough to deal with what comes next. Either way, if I can muster up the courage to take that first step, the rest aren't as bad as I imagined they would be. Congratulations! You've already taken the first step. The first step is realizing that maybe you could benefit from an objective perspective on what's occurring in your life! The second step is finding someone you are comfortable talking to. If you choose to talk with me, I will provide you with a safe space to share whatever you feel is getting in your way of being the best version of yourself. I will not judge you. I will listen and provide you with an objective point of view and possible ways to get to that better version. My goal is to give you hope and the belief that you can change. 'Change' would occur through a process where you identify your strengths and weaknesses. You then choose what weaknesses you want to modify--in a way that you stay true to yourself and who you are.
