Man's Best friend

WHAT IS IOP?

Family Solutions Counseling provides an intensive outpatient program (IOP) to adults 18+ and teens 14+ who have mental health concerns. FSC prides itself on creating an environment where clients feel comfortable to be able to engage in intensive treatment plans structured with group and individual therapy for 6 weeks.

IOP is intended to assist clients who have been struggling and has not found relief from traditional individual therapy. IOP serves clients who require less structure than offered in day treatment, inpatient, or residential treatment programs. The intention of IOP is to reduce recidivism rates for Emergency Room visits and hospitalization.

Insurance pre authorization will be required before you are able to start the program. Pre authorizations can sometimes take up to 48 hours not including holidays and weekends. Once we have all your insurance information we will work with your insurance company. Once they provide authorization they will also determine if there is any out of pocket cost to you. We will require you to sign an agreement of payment for any portion your insurance will not cover. Payment is due at time of service. Payment will still be billed regardless of you missing IOP.

IOP is a 8 week commitment. It is expected that you are present for all groups and individual sessions. We understand life happens, please call ahead and let us know as soon as possible if you can make it to IOP one day.

WHAT ABOUT COVID-19?

We have limited group size to 10 individuals to ensure there will be adequate room between individuals. We will be sanitizing and will have hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies available. We strongly encourage masks at this time. We will be following city mandates and have made preparations as needed for the pandemic.

WILL I BE REQUIRED TO TAKE MEDICATION WHILE IN THE PROGRAM?

No, we do not require that you be taking medication while in IOP. We are partnered with Cache Ketamine and Mental Health and have this service available to you.
