CSW
My approach is tailored to each client and their individual needs. Each individual has a unique set of circumstances that require different therapeutic approaches. With every individual I will take a non-judgmental approach. The Therapeutic Approach I tend to use is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which challenges and changes unhelpful behaviors and cognitive distortions, improves emotional regulation, and assists with the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.
I am from Cache Valley, born and raised. I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work from Utah State University and then went back to Utah State to get my Masters of Social Work. To me, being a social worker/therapist is about sculpting myself into a valuable tool society cannot overlook; and when they take that double glance, not only am I going to be an empowering force to those who come from similar backgrounds, but leaving a mark on the pages of history as someone who left the world better than it was.
