Growing up in a multicultural family setting, I understand the challenges of navigating life from a different perspective than most. SUMMARY OF PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
I worked for the Department of Human Services in the Juvenile Justice Division for about 3 years. There I worked with individuals and families in dealing with all types of issues including trauma, abuse, neglect, defiance, attachment issues, etc. I have taught classes and facilitated groups to provide treatment to a wide variety of clients. I also worked in the local school district to provide therapeutic services to students and their families. There I worked with clients who were dealing with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and other mental health issues.
