WHAT KIND OF HOMEWORK OR ASSIGNMENTS DO YOU GIVE CLIENTS?

I do not give homework.  I ask clients to be proactive in their therapy by helping them identify action plans to implement between sessions that can help them achieve their therapeutic goals.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST SESSION WITH YOU?

Before meeting with any therapist, it is helpful to identify ways you would like life to be different.  Ask yourself, "What would I like to be doing?"  "What do I want to change?"  "How would I treat myself or others differently?"   Having some answers, or thoughts to these questions will help identify your therapy goals as well as give me an idea of what you are looking for so we can have a positive experience.
