I specialize in adjustment, trauma, substance use, and the emotional challenges faced by immigration.I am committed to your success, I don’t give up easily, and I understand resilience and hope. I can guide you through your journey to find hope even when it feels like there is no hope to find.
After your first session with me, you will start to feel comfortable, safe, and listened to. I speak both Spanish and English, so we can use the language that you feel most comfortable using.
During the first session, we will get to know each other and you will learn about my therapy style, confidentiality, and what to expect from me. I will briefly explain how the therapeutic process works. Going forward I will support you by asking questions.
MORE ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Colombia, South America. I came to the United States at the age of 25.
Adjusting to a new country was very challenging. Working with my clients, I learned to acknowledge my own experiences. Today, I can better support others, because I know what it’s like to face challenges.
Having personally experienced how these adjustments helped me, I connect and understand my client's experiences on a deeper level.
I work online with clients in Utah and Florida.
