Cate Graves

MSWi

I've had training across a number of therapeutic modalities which include Compassionate Inquiry (CI), Emotionally & Focused Experiential (AEDP IFS, And Coherence Therapy), Crisis Response (Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center), and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). I also hold a deep interest in contemporary dream theory. I love working with teens and young adults, helping them navigate through big life changes.

I currently work with individuals and groups through Family Solutions Counseling Center based in Logan, UT where I provide therapy in-person and via telehealth.

TREATMENT APPROACH

I believe we all have a core self-state, also known as the “authentic self”, a place where compassion creativity, wisdom, curiosity, and a sense of ease reside. I love working with clients and accompanying them on the journey back to their most innate and authentic selves.

The gentle and attuned experiential therapy I do with clients is aimed at helping them reintegrate and reconnect with split-off parts of the self to reclaim the natural vitality within. Through the therapeutic process, anxious and depressive states are relieved, as individuals find ways to reconnect and be with their authentic selves.
