KATIE HEINSOHN
CSW
We all experience trying to find our purpose, self-acceptance, and identity. At times we feel loneliness, isolation, confusion, and a sense of hopelessness. These types of emotions can weigh heavily on our mental health and stop us from being the best version of ourselves and keep us from following our bliss. You are not alone in these thoughts and feelings, and you do not have to take this journey on your own.
My experience for the past several years has been working with children, teens, young adults, and families. I believe in positive communication, building trust and working as a team to help you meet your goals. Your voice will be heard, and I will work with you to create a safe and empowering place where we can take your journey of self-acceptance together.
My life experiences have taught me to be open-minded, empathetic, non-judgmental, patient, and flexible. I use a trauma informed, strength-based approach, along with supporting interventions such as, EMDR, DBT and CBT. I feel confident that by working together, we can help you feel more empowered, find your self-confidence, and become the person you want to be.
