Whether you’re facing anxiety, loss, a major transition, or simply feeling overwhelmed and uncertain, my goal is to create a space where you can show up as you are and feel genuinely supported. In our work together, we’ll slow things down and make space for your thoughts and emotions—not to avoid them, but to better understand what’s there and why it matters. From there, we’ll look at practical, realistic ways to move forward, guided by what feels meaningful to you and the kind of person you want to be.
I believe meaningful change grows through connection—with yourself, with others, and with the world around you. My path to becoming a therapist has been unconventional. I spent years helping run a small artisan cheesemaking business, where I came to realize that what mattered most wasn’t the craft itself, but the connection within it—conversations while stirring the curd, a child meeting a calf, or a familiar face at the farmers market. Those moments continue to shape how I show up in this work.
I also believe healing shows up in many forms. What I’ve learned in my clinical training about resilience and growth reflects the same patterns I see in everyday life—through meaningful conversations, music, stories, or the clarity that comes from time outdoors. Therapy, to me, is about helping you notice those moments, build on them, and create more space for them in your life.
As a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern, I work with individuals of all ages and strive to offer care that is inclusive, affirming, and grounded in the full context of your life. I am a member of the LGBTQ+-Affirmative Therapist Guild of Utah and the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America, and I’m here to support you as you move toward a life that feels more connected, intentional, and your own.

TREATMENT APPROACH
My approach to therapy is collaborative and practical, integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Nature-Informed Therapy practices to help you better understand your internal experiences while also finding practical ways to move forward.
In session, we focus on slowing things down—helping you notice what you’re thinking and feeling, and how those experiences connect to what matters most to you. From there, we work on small, realistic steps that feel doable and meaningful in your everyday life. I might invite you to experiment with small, realistic practices—like nature-based grounding or mindful observation— to help bridge the work we do together with your everyday experience.
I also hold the bigger picture in mind. Our identities, relationships, and the world around us all shape how we experience things. I strive to create a space that feels grounded, inclusive, and responsive to those realities, with attention to both personal and systemic stressors. My role is not to direct your life, but to walk alongside you—offering structure, perspective, and support as you build a life that feels more grounded and intentional.

“You do not have to be good. You do not have to walk on your knees for a hundred miles through the desert, repenting. You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.”
