My goal is to one day work with specifically juveniles and young adults who have been involved in the Juvenile Justice System one way or another. I want to utilize sports and games in the therapy to teach skills this population may not have had the chance to learn/fully develop. Currently, I am seeking experience in a therapeutic/clinical setting to better understand how I function as a therapist.

TREATMENT APPROACH

I am a fan of the person in environment perspective. Taking the time to learn about a client and there situation and the various cause to what may be troubling them. I feel this gives a better chance for connection and success. It also lends well to a strength center approach.
