Superman’s weakness is Kryptonite. The Green Lantern becomes weak to a single color. Aqua man loses power the longer he is away from water. A part of what makes all superheroes so compelling is they have a weakness which adds depth to their character. When Superman touches Kryptonite his knees buckle, and he experiences intense pain; his power diminishes.
Although superheroes each have a weakness, they are not any less loveable, courageous, brave, strong or empowered to fight for justice. Despite their difficulties, they do the best they can with the strengths they possess.

What is your kryptonite? What is the thing in your life which holds you back or makes your life more difficult? The truth is, it can be anything, and a combination of challenges. Depression. Anxiety. Addiction. Trauma. Loneliness. Shame. Grief. The list can go on, and everyone has their own set of challenges.
What can you do about it? Like Superman, we all can be aware of our own kryptonite. Superman sought help from others who could withstand kryptonite and found a way to help reverse the effects of kryptonite on him. By bringing awareness to our own difficulties, we can seek appropriate help and ways to manage our challenges.
